I'm a tryin to be strong but it's hard. I was there with her for a few days while my parents went camping. And she couldn't handle my dog so I went and stayed with her so the dog could get let out. I was there when the hospice lady saidt hat it feels like the cfancer has gone into the liver. *sigh* I love my grandma and it is killing me to know she's in such pain.

I know this has got to be an awful time for you. Try to be strong. It's hard, truely it is, but try. I've had a lot of cancer in my family, and my aunt was ill for a very long while, and it tore me apart to see her like that. But it helps to talk, so if you ever need a virtual shoulder, I'm here for ya.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. I know it must be difficuly to be going throught this. Cancer is such a hard thing.

(((Erin))) ... I awoke to you and your grandmother on my mind. I'm sure it was very difficult for you to be with your grandmother while your parents were away. But, I'll bet she was go glad for your presence and your company.

Come here anytime (and you have my e-mail, too) you need support or just to talk and be heard.

Just know, that you've been on my mind and I continue to hold you and your entire family in my highest thoughts.

I'm gonna whine a little........
I have never lost anyone in my family to "natural " causes. They never die because they are "old" they are old when they die but that's not the reaswon why they die.
My grandpa on my dads side, died from pancreaic (sp) cancer.
My Grandma on my mom's side, died from lung cancer, and we went to her house and found her that way.
My grandpa my mom's side, committed suicide before I even got to meet him.
*sigh* ain't life thepits sometimes?

((((Erin)))) ... this isn't whining at all ... it is sadness and mourning; very natural given the circumstances at hand. Glad you posted ... we are all here for you and very interested in your wellbeing.

Bless and keep you ... ~Anna
