My parakeet has a big lump on her chest. what would you think is happening. she is acting pretty protective biting way hard. she is acting ok eating ok looking fine. also her butt feathers are puffed. thanks for the help

Maybe the lump you describe is an egg that got stuck. If so, it occurs sometimes and can be potentially fatal. If you think it's a stuck egg, take her to the vet quick!

agree with everyone above..... my first thought was an egg that got stuck. take her to the vet ASAP.
