Angel the blue and gold macaw, mimsy the lesser sulphur too, rocky the galah & willow the blue crowned conure.
angel is 7 month now and is starting to test boundries to see what she cant get away with. she's got a trick now when its time to go back into her cage. she's normally really good at going back in cos she always gets a treat like a walnut or gape etc. but the last few days she plays dead. when she realalises its time to back in she goes completely floppy with her head back and still. she wont even step onto a perch, just lays there in my arms like a ragdoll!! it reminds me of a toddler throwing themselves on the floor. except she doesn't make a noise.
anyone else's macaw do this and will she stop it when she realises its not woking?
once she's in the cage she's fine and climbs on her perch looking for a treat, i'm just waiting for the other stunts she's going to try to get her own way!! LOL

Lol that reminds me JUST of my kids as toddlers- if you were trying to carry them somewhere they didnt wanna go they just weighed you down with FLOPPY DEAD WEIGHT!! HAHA! Tooo cute

That is very funny Melly! It would also give me quite a scare though. Bella likes tease me... She will call out from her cage "step up" so I will go over to get her out and she will say "HaHaHa!"... Last night my mom was reading a magazine and sighed.. two seconds later Bella imitated her and sighed. I was laughing so hard and Bella knew she was being funny so she said again "HaHa". Her antics are bound to drive me bonkers one day! But I love it <3
