Pistachios?!?

Can my sun conure eat pistachios? Their shelled an there green seeds but the thing is their toasted and salted but I can't even taste any salt. Safe or no?

Don't use anything that has added salt. Whether you taste it or not, it is there if the packaging says so. Salt can be toxic for birds because they dont have the abilty to excrete the excess salt. Pistachios are fine though when unsalted.

My Sun adores pistachios. I keep them to a minimum though. My boyfriend's brother (he was only 9 at the time) fed him quite a few without us realizing it and Carlisle ended up with pistachio green poops

u can give them non salted ones but dont give them to much
