Hello all! My husband and I recently gained a new feather child named Pipsy! Pipsy is a 12 year old African Grey. She is the first feathered family member we have ever had and it's been fun as we've gotten to know her and bring her into the family. She used to belong to a coworker who felt he couldn't give her what she needed anymore. We were only going to foster her a few days for another friend and fell in love. She is a very sassy Lil girl. She has completely bonded with the hubby and slowly she is warming up to me.
A few things about her. She loves saying hello when you answer the phone or walk in the door and goodbye when you leave. She loves laughing and mimicking both my husband and I when we talk. And when she sees a bottle or cup in your hand she loves making the sound of a soda opening and belching.
I guess I won't take anymore time here.. I'll just say we both love our Lil girl and it's been amazing adding her to our home. Here is a pic of our pretty bird.
