Pionus WIN! And Green Cheeks too =D

My upstairs neighbor was in my house last night. Our walls are thin, we hear each other's conversations. there are no secrets here! Except one I guess! He saw our new GCC baby in the dining room and was talking about how surprised he was that he hadn't heard him at all, saying how quiet he was. The conversation went on until at some point I must have mentioned the pair of Maximillian's Pionus. His face was great. "Wait, you have THREE birds?!?!" We went to look at the Pionus, who are in the room directly below his 10 month old son's room. He was floored - never knew we had them.. they are SO QUIET! So yeah, I guess the Pionus earned the name "apartment parrot" after all!

Haha, no, I love bird noises and don't mind screamers, but I am just so happy to be able to live with parrots without my neighbors being angry with me!

Wow I had no idea they were so quiet! I've been looking into them lately but you can only tell so much from youtube videos.
