Pinocchio costume I made

A few weeks ago an acquaintance asked me if I did any sewing, other than quilting. She wanted a Pinocchio costume for her little boy, but all the ones she found online weren't very impressive. I told her- I can give it a try even though I haven't made clothes or costumes, but I can't imagine it'd be any harder than a quilt! So, she gave me his measurements and left me to figure it out. I ended up making my own templates from manilla file folders and the whole thing was a learning process. So, here's what I made:

The collar and bow tie-

The vest-

The shorts-

The hat-

Now I just have to ship everything halfway across the country and hope they fit!!

I tried at one point selling mine and my hubby's handmade stuff through etsy... No one ever bought anything so I gave up. But it kinda worked out because I haven't really had the extra time for it. Maybe after we move in to the new house I can give it another shot.

Yeah, it's one I bought. I bought a 12 pack and got 11, and only one was decent looking. Lol
