We are considering a partner for ScooterPie.. Our shop has a baby WBC that has the sweetest disposition and has taken to me just as Scooter did..
Don't want to breed them, so I guess we gotta find out what sex the other is..

Quick question:
Scooter (10mo old) has dark gray feet and the baby (14weeks) has pink.. Do the feet change as they age? It would be a great way to tell them apart!! LOL

He's a boy??
Damn, I was hoping he'd be a girl so I could stop thinking about adding another.. I can't imagine what TWO of these little clowns scheming together would be like!! :54:
Tonka is looking awesome!! Friendly as heck, total Caique!!

Scooter is notably smaller compared to this guy.. Questions remains, do the feet stay pink if they're born that way?? I've seen pics of both..

Caique owners have this saying.... "caiques are like potato chips, you can't just have one!"

If you're smitten and think you and Scooterpie can handle another. Do it! :)

Well, after a few hours over the past two weeks of Scooter and the baby playing together it's been decided that he'll be coming home as soon as he's weened.. Apparently they can share a "Dave" (one on each shoulder)
Welcome "Skittles"!!!!

Congrats! Do you have a timeframe? Also, a word of warning about a Caique on each shoulder. If they can't see the other through your head, their "where are you" calls can cause deafness. :09:

LOL! Boy, have I found that out! Definitely one of the most useful warnings regarding multiple caique ownership!

Last night I played two roles for Eliza and Henry: a human trampoline, alternating with being a preening station. Which led me to another multiple caique-owner saying: "What was I THINKING?!"
:D

(Rest assured, I'm kidding! I absolutely agree: go for it! If you think one caique is fun, having two of them is just incredible!)

LOL, that's for sure!! Actually they were taking turns surfing on the back collar of my shirt!! (A couple of scuffles did ensue!!) Skittles is just starting to take a real interest in solid food, so it won't be for a couple of weeks I'm sure!!

We are getting the same cage model but assembled opposite so the breeder doors will be facing each other and I can build a clear plastic "Skyway" for them if they get along well.. :D
