Can anyone tell me if all pine cones are safe for my Conures. I read somewhere a while back not to use pine cones from hemlock trees. How do you tell the difference? My husband brought home a few different kinds of pine cones and we don't know if they are safe or not.

If yours look like these I wouldn't let my birds have them, also if you don't know if any of them have been sprayed I wouldn't let my bird have them.
While my girl loves her pine cones I either buy them from mysafebirdstore.com or go to my Mom's and pick them up and bake them dry myself so I know they haven't been sprayed with anything toxic.
