You're breeding? I would recommend against it. A lot can go wrong, it's a TON of work and costs a lot of money, and it's not something I would want ANYONE but a responsible breeder doing it.
If you insist on breeding, I'd go with aspen shavings or some kind of paper product instead. If they don't advertise it for birds-it's probably not for birds.
I personally wouldn't breed either but pine and cedar bedding have been known to cause respiratory infections due to the dust and strong smell it can sometimes give off. Aspen is a virtually dust free bedding doesn't smell, it would be a much safer option.
