Several days ago I was able to drag & drop a couple of pictures into a message posting, however tonight your delicate little system will not allow a similar attempt.....I even re-sized the pic to 7.7k bit map.....

Can one of you technically proficient gurus please post directions as to how properly post images ? ? ?

Also enlighten we mere minions as to any special finessing or ways of holding our tongues, passwords, incantations or homages that may be required.....

Since I see requests for posting instructions frequently, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only frustrated duffer.........




I also cut the pic from the several paragraphs of text & tried to post it with maybe 12 words, so I seriously doubt it was too big, given that the pics I posted previously were Jpeg files.....


Just noticed that there have been some 19 lookers in the last couple of hours.....you do realize that there is strength in numbers and while those
powers that control the accepting and/or rejecting of pics will sit up and take notice of...A Lot Of Disgruntled Members...if you stop in for a look see, voice your opinion.....

Here is the easiest way to post pics...


When you are creating your post, go into attachments, click on upload from Computer, then browse.. click on the pic you want to show, then click on upload.... or if you have photobucket just hover mouse over the image then left click on IMG and it will say copied, then just paste into your message box, go onto preview post and it will show if it has gone in properly:) You can even copy your pic from photobucket and paste it directly into your post. This can also be done in the same way from pics in your Album.

It allows you to post 10 pics at a time.

If a Member asks for help on posting or posting pics, we have always do our best to help them.

I never had problems posting pics on here from tapatalk. .until about a month or so ago...and now I can't get tapatalk to host, or post pics on here....its stressing ....cause...cause..well...lol..its really not...just a tad bit annoying....:)

I'm glad I found this...admins need to look into this...

If you look through earlier threads then you will see that Admin have already been informed of this problem!
 
I see that now. .but still no fix?

I think that last part was a joke. Like, do we need to hold our tongues a certain way or say some incantation in order to get pictures to load. That's my take anyway. :D
 
The attachment system is working properly, I can't find any problem with it. I did increase the size of images that are allowed.

However, bit map (or .bmp) is the worst format to use. It is very large. Please use jpg if possible.

Let me know if you save the file as a jpg and try again if it does not work. Also, dragging and dropping isn't the way to do it. You need to go into the advanced post option if your replying (or do a new thread) and then go to the attachment manager below the post window. Once you click that you can upload files from your computer.
 
We recently upgraded the Tapatalk engine on this site, and after a quick test just now I had no trouble uploading an image through tapatalk. Please try it again and if you continue to have trouble you might want to check for a Tapatalk upgrade on your device.

Also, I've tested uploading an image and had no problems. For example:

My tapatalk(free version) worked fine until I received an update from them...then I started getting error messages stating that "forum was restricting access"( posted this about a week ago )

I then upgraded to Tapatalk HD ($4.99).. I can now access the forum and post pic no issues....

In a nut shell.. On my end at least.... The free version of tapatalk still won't access this forum but the paid version work flawlessly..

Ah.. It looks like this could be the answer then! Upgrade to Tapatalk HD :)
 
I just tried it again, and I keep getting an error message...this exceeds your quota by 72.6kb...tap to see your attachments..

I wonder if its a tapatalk blue thing??

Idk..it works on the other sites just fine.?:confused:

Thankyou for looking into this:)

I have a feeling that if all Members that use tapatalk upgrade, then this will solve the problems.
 
Yeah...and if all people who develope tapatalk would stay up to date...we'd all be happy

Yes Wenz, while I had a problem (obviously of my own making because I was not doing things right), I wasn't trying to be obtuse, but thought a little levity might convey that.....sorry, sometimes we misguided cousins, on this side of the pond, don't always properly explain ourselves, leaving our ideas & intentions to be assumed instead.....sorry.....

LOL.. It seems we have a different way of expressing our homour here in the UK :)
 
Well my problem wasn't all me lol..it was the developer not keeping up to date....go figure..I'll just buy another tapatalk. HD is for tablets by the way..and sorry to be a pest.....:)
