You have most likely reached a quota as the alloted memory per member is fairly small. You can roughly double it by becoming a Supporting Member.
Most practical way to post images is from a free hosting site such as Imgur.

I just post pics in the Parrot Forums album feature and paste those links into the image button.

I own and run a forum, I’m not understanding charging for pics. I won’t load any more. I’ve never heard of an allotted amount of pics. A forum stays alive with new posts and new pics. Double the allotted amount by becoming a supporting member? So if I pay I get 10 pics? If you install the rite uploaded in a forum it’s all free and easy. I just did all this with the photobucked snafu. So if everyone can’t post pics, it dies. Ok, see you guys.

A bit of a misunderstanding here! No one ever said you pay for posting photos! Native photos consume a huge amount of disk space!
You say you run a forum, is it hosted at your house, or do you pay for space?

I pay for a server, there is no more disk space like that, that’s how it used to be, it’s one price. I pay and if I get donations it’s a plus, Hey, I don’t care, I have the pics, it’s the other members that suffer. Years ago bandwidth was an issue, not anymore. You guys do what you want, I would never limit my forum, with all the FB activity, forums are dying, you want posts and pics. Getting people to post and then with pics, pics are a bonus for you forum. A story without a pic is not good. I’m not going to use some other way to post a pic. I just won’t post them.

This is a misunderstanding, you can still post as many pics as you want! The attachments are what is restricted. You can still include pics in your posts using the album feature or Imgur.

Nobody seeks to charge you for sharing pics. I'm simply quoting a forum limitation as a non-technical person. You'll find members posting images profusely via free image hosting sites such as Imgur.
Very sorry you find this disturbing and feel the forum has lessened value. I will verify all of this with fellow mods and the administrator and clarify as needed.

I for myself am sorry to see you leave for what I think is a minor issue.
I am a supporting member because I believe in paying for what I get. I get great information and entertainment from the forum and the great people here. Having additional space for pictures is just an added bonus.
Most of the time I use Imgru but when I am in a hurry I will upload it to the forum.

I'm not leaving but I agree with burd/OP. Free image hosting site and then linking here is not an option, I share 12gigs a month with 4 people, I simply do not have the data for all that. All my images are thru attachments here and then later deleted for to make room for more. Major hassle. Big negative about this forum that I do not have to deal with on other forums. Not everyone wants to upload elsewhere and then link here, and not everyone who wants to can. Not everyone wants accounts all over the internet, not everyone wants to publicly post their images to some hosting site.
ALWAYS remember: when the service is free, *you* are the product. Or your images are.

You can send a pic by attachment, copy it, edit post and paste the photo and you can delay attachment. This way photos won't be delayed. Or create an album here, send photos and the same - copy and paste

One way or another you have to pay for what you get.
It is the motto of the lunar colony in the book "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress" his (IMHO) second most famous book.
#1 being "Stranger in a Strange Land".
