1 Lovebird
Hi there. Just joined the forums. I am becoming the proud owner of a baby lovebird, and would appreciate any tips for first time lovebird owner. I have read up lots, but first hand experiences would be very much appreciated, mostly on the what not to do! :):rainbow1:

I've never had a lovebird, but they're so sweet. Could you post pictures of your baby when you get him/her?

Yeah, sure will do, they are so very sweet. I cannot wait to pick him/her up xx

If you've got any questions about food/training/etcetc. then just ask away, I can't answer lovebird specific though, just naughty parrots :p

I love the look of lovebirds! Congratulations! I have always wanted one given their beauty and small size, but they aren't a good personality fit for me. Post some pics!

i've had a lot of experiences with lovebirds and currently almost done weaning my newest
one. don't know what advice to give off the top of my head right now, but if you need to
know about anything specific, just ask. :)

Congrats and welcome to the forum!! Can't wait to see pictures. Love birds are adorable!

What lovebirds lack in size, they make up for in attitude. They can be very strong willed, so it is important to set boundaries and be consistent with them. They're awesome little birds; just remember, they're not really little birds. ;)
