Trying to get a new cage for my lovebird. Petco sucks cage wise. Currently they're in a 24.75x20.75x32 cage right now. If I'm getting a bigger cage, I want it to be worth it.. Not an extra $100 for an extra inch or two, ya know?

This is the cage i was looking at: Bird Cages & Aviaries: Prevue Wrought Iron Flight Cage F040 w/ Stand

I love it. Ya or nay? Is this an appropriate upgrade (worth the extra price)? The spacing looks good, and it seems plenty roomy. Is wrought iron good? Its a lovebird, so I don't think stainless steel is necessary. How much sq ft is this cage ? It's 31" L x 20.5" W x 53" H, and I don't trust my calculations lol.

Thanks

I have several of these cages for my finches, canaries, birds of that size. It is super roomy, and I think a Lovie would love all that room. The bar spacing is 1/2 ", which would work.
My lovebirds use their whole cage, so the height space may even be used.

Ok thanks a lot. I think I'll get that one unless any body has any better suggestions.

Also, this is a tad off topic, but she doesn't really play with toys. Any help there? She might open up in this new cage, buttt she might also just stay on one perch and yell & attack the toys when she touches them.
