Pi Behavior with Video!

I inherited a Pionus that I have bonded quite well with. I struggle to understand some of his behavior, though. He used to live with a dog. When he wants to play, we growl at each other. I'm sick so my growl sounds pretty haggard haha super sorry about that. He appears to be regurgitating? I don't know why. And the soft repetitive noise is also new. What do you know about this kind of behavior??

I think your Pi is feeling Spring is coming..... .
Maybe he wants to mate with you or just to show you that he loves you.
The sounds you are making are making him feel good, that's what I think. Birds regurge when happy usually.
I don't think you should worry about anything, but your couch being stained.............

Very cute PI you have there. They regurgitate for their mates to show love and respect for them. He is bonded to you and wants to feed you. It's a cute gesture, but messy & smelly.
