Hee! I love Sirocco! Anyone who belongs to facebook can subscribe to the Sirocco pagee and get updates about the conservation program. How I envied Stephen Fry being able to visit the islands where the Kakapo are being kept! The wildlife authorities have had them (the islands) cleared of foxes, cats, rats and stoats so the Kakapo can live and breed in safety. Sirocco is the mascot of the breeding program and he's quite a character. Wouldn't you just love to take him home and hug him?
