petting a bird!

hey guys! im just wondering, where can i pet my budgies? i’ve heard that many places are bad to touch them.

Head and neck only. All other areas could lead to said bird misinterpreting the pets for something else.

Budgies tend to not like being pet. Don't touch feet/tail as they don't enjoy it and it can hormonally frustrate them. Don't touch their back as they dislike it and it can make them hormonal. I sometimes pet my budgies on the belly/crop area(gently) but they hate it.

In general, budgies either like being pet on the head or not at all.
