Firstly, I'm sorry the photos aren't very clear, still getting used to photographing the bird
This is Pete.
This is Pete.
She came from the aviary as a baby, supposedly a male. (Hence, Pete) It became clearer as time went on, he was a she. It only took her a day to realise you cant fly thru windows and roof's, as she escaped when we tried to put her in a cage. However, for an aviary bred bird, she got used to us very quickly. Day two saw her on ou fingers, and by the weekend, she would come out to the lounge, and fly between the flatmates computer screens ( I was living with 3 others at the time). She refuses to be social before 7am, but who can blame her? She spends her mornings on the window sill, talking and bobbing to the birds outside, who pay no notice. She loves toast, especially landing in it whe it had been freshly buttered. I owe her so much, she rekindled my love of birds, and kept me company when I had days at home alone, while everybosy was at work. ( I had ME). I love my baby girl
