here is a case of a sick electus

And he got that electus from a pet store!

This African grey was also purchased from a pet store. I asked him a few psots down where he got it from. Also I think he/she knew that this bird was sick and decided to help him.
So be carefully when buying from pet stores. If you want a parrot I would do as MUCH research as possible and heck even stick around this forum and see what people have to offer before you get a parrot. If you can I recommend adopting a parrot that was abused. My heart goes out to birds with feather plucking problems. And if you do purchase a baby parrot please please go to a breeder or if you have too a good pet store(has them on a good diet and is not dirty and has screened there birds/animals)
