Pet Sitting trade- anybody in Tallahassee, FL?

I just thought I'd through this out there, but is anybody in Tallahassee, FL and interesting in trading pet sitting when the need arises? Not going anywhere that I know of yet, but I did this with someone when I lived in WA and it worked great.
I have the birds, and 14 guinea pigs, so if you have alot of pets that's fine with me!

You need to be very careful here. I was in a bind a while back and was in need of a pet sitter and someone from the forums volunteered to pet sit for me so that I could go out of the country on family business. Something just didn't sit right with me about the offer, so I declined. My Nephew who usually sits for me became free to do it. But it fell through and I wound up not going.

The end of the story was that shortly after the person offered to pet sit for me, they became involved in some shady dealings here and dropped off the planet. I'm sure glad I listened to my gut insticts and declined their offer.

Exactly. I'm not saying everyone will be welcome! But I will listen to my gut. Background checks are pretty cheap too for a normal one. I just don't know anyone here, much less with pets, so starting from square 1. Since I'm not going anywhere anytime soon, I have time for people to get to know me as much as possible on here, and for me to scope out them on here before we move to even meeting.
