Anyone here like to fish?
I like to fish for stripers off the beach... pretty fun.
I was in Florida last year and I caught a 300+ lb nurse shark... biggest thing I've ever caught...

hablas espanol? Just wondering. I've been taking Spanish for 2 years now. It's almost annoying how confusing it can get, but I really dream of being able to speak at least 2 languages so I can talk with even more people.

Best way to become fluent in a foreign language is to go to where it is primarily spoken. So... if you want to learn spanish go to new york city!)

I've forgotten more languages that many people learn.

Was fluent in spanish - studied it in school for many years, but living in mexico is what did it for me. Learned a good a bit of french at one point. Then in the middle east and africa I picked up enough arabic and the local language (I think swahili) to communicate with people.

But as I have not used any of these in quite some time I do not remember much. Once back in an environment that uses the language though I'd pick it back up quick.

Oh, and by fishing do you mean sitting on a dock drinking beer, sitting in a boat drinking beer, or standing in a river in waders drinking beer?

Cool, sounds really fun.
My dream is and always has been living in some South or Central AMerican country for a year or two... wish it was safer... I love the rainforest.

I went to France a couple of years ago, pretty cool there. It's not the place for me ( I like adventure... Diving, climbing, hiking, camping...) but it WAS nice.

Never been to Africa though, how is it there?

I used to be just about fluent in french, forgot most of it now. I dropped it when i started highschool. I would like to learn Norwegian or Portuguese. I already know a tiny bit of Norwegian, but not much. I also now a quite a few swear words in a few of the asian languages, oh i also know a few german swears. :D

Those kind of things come in handy when your annoying teacher yells at you... :)

lol ya. My chemistry teacher is Korean and we have a few international students in our class from Korea. Once the teacher was like 'No swearing!..... even in other languages.....that means you Sang Hyoun!" LOL most of the Koreans dont realize that he too can speak Korean, even though he was born and raised in Canada.

And ya, having most of the accounting class asian and/or exchange or international students is pretty helpful .... lol. They teach me useful words. :D I teach them some too... lol A couple months ago i had to explain something that was really awkward and which i wont say because ya but it was interesting. lol I still make fun of him to this day about it.

I have a girl in my class who came from Poland last year. Learned some useful stuff... some are hard to pronounce!

I drink beer, I speak French, I know multiple swear words in different languages, and I don't fish but I have lots of pet ones. What can I say, I'm very talented.
