I am making Persian food again tonight! Yay! My father is Iranian (Persian) and growing up as a child, he used to always make Persian food every Sunday (now, this is Saturday, but my taste buds are still watering!!).
I am going to make:
Polo (steamed Basmati rice)
Khoresh-e lubia sabz (Grean Bean Koresh--meaning "sauce")
Serkeh khiar (minus the cucumbers) (Yogurt and mint salad--with rose petals)
I don't have any Panir (Persian cheese), nor Lavash (flat bread), nor torshi (pickled eggplant) , but, we will make due without it! (Gosh, I love going home and having a full blown Persian meal!).
Anyway, *rumble, rumble* goes my tummy! What kinds of ethnic foods do YOU enjoy?? :47:
