Riley-white faced grey cockatiel (hatch date 6-28-2014) RIP Halloween-pied cockatiel
So the other day I Halloween out of the cage as I cleaned and prepared to rearrange my bedroom she was on my bed as usual well I can get her to step up my hand no problem I dont say step up just put my hand near her feet and she does it. Apparently she likes to stay on my head as I tried to get her stay on my bed for a few minutes so I could seperate my laundry and she would not step off my hand she kept walking right back up my arm to shoulder then my back then up my hair so she was directly on top of my head. So I left her there then I finally got her onto my bed and stayed there for a little while then decided to fly into her cage when she did that Hallows Eve flew out and they problem with that is I can not get him to come to me at all infact it took me an hour and half to get him to back into the cage and that is after I left him out of the cage for 45 minutes. I can barely get near the bird without him freaking out. (the reason it took so long to get the bird is because he kept hiding under my bed) Halloween is more laid back and trusting and Hallows Eve is more i guess the best way to describe him is up tight. Although I'm not sure if that's really the way he is or if he is molting. Since getting him he has lost about 5 feathers that I counted. I know he's not plucking because I never see him messing with his feathers.

Yes they definitely have their own unique characters! :D

Although Hallows Eve seems distant we must remember that they are still new and he clearly takes it differently than Halloween. I bet that in time you will see a wonderful personality popping out of Hallows Eve and he will most probably make you cry of laughter. :D

Yeah I'm sure he will however I don't think it helps that he is molting which was definatley confirmed when I came home from work the other day and I saw that the bottom tray of the cage was covered with feathers like the ones on his chest and back so hopefully after that he is done molting he will be easier to get to come out of the cage. I give them both showers daily
