Perch vs branch

I was wondering wath do you macaw owners prefer in the cage, perch or a branch? And howmany u have inside cage, howbig is ur cage? Thanks

I use 2 big natural branches, the one at the top has a fork in it, so it spreads both ways of the cage, he has a rope perch, and a grape vine perch in the corner, and he did have a cement perch but he is never in his cage, so took it out and put it where he sometimes sits.. and then he has a little ladder/perch as well.. probably going to get another perch soon
It is a corner cage with the dimensions: 185cm(H)x155cm (W) x123cm(D).

Hey i just saw ur cage it looks so nice did u made the ladder ur self? I havent seen those, i been looking for a rope one too and cant find one i made a big stand with pvc pipe and i put rope so it wont be slipery, she also has a branch stand and her cage too but she doesnt like her cage lol shes always outside either on top of cage or stand do u have urs out all day? How old is she?

ahh the big wood ladder in my album that he is sitting on? no the breeder where i got Fargo from makes them, they are wire based with all these nuts and wood on it

Do you have a picture of your cage?

Yes Fargo is fully flighted and has flight recall training and is out all day except for an hour or 2 in the afternoon and he is almost 10 months old! how old is your girl?

Aaw he still a baby mine is 5 years old and doesnt know how to fly is a goodthibg sometimes because she wont go all over the place lol
Shes never inside her cage shes on her stands or top of cage, i wanted to get a bigger cage but theres not point if shes never there anyways.. The pic of her cage is on my pics, do u only have one parrot?

yes if she is never in it then that size cage is fine

yes Fargo is my one and only parrot, so he is a little spoilt
i see you have an AG and 2 ring necks. how do they all get along?

Yes i have a AG and 2 ring necks they all get along but i really dont let the ringnecks with the macaw bc one of them like to chace around her tail lol penny hates it haha

And she doesnt fly bc she just doesnt know how to she never has since baby, ALOT OF PARROTS DONT FLY BC THEY DONT KNOW THEY CAN, even if i let her wings grow, neither my african gray, he doesnt either the only trouble makers flying around are the RN PENNY doesnt like to walk around but TEDDY the AG does like to walk around in look for trouble too lol love them they all spoil
