Perch advice for my GCC?

I took my GCC to the vet today for his checkup and she recommended a ceramic perch? I am not seeing much about that, so maybe I am not remembering exactly what she said, we covered a lot of material today.

Anyway, can anyone recommend what types of perches I should be using and should there be different types and sizes for my little guy?

I have a couple of calcium perches ( I can't find any cement perches near me), I only keep one in the cage at a time but they are both very rough though. I don't know if this is an alternative but it's what I'm doing at the moment.
