They are one of Sakura's favorite things (and the only seeds I let her have anymore, aside from the occasional Nutriberry ;)). I slice up jalapenos and mini bell peppers, put them on skewers and let her go at them; I figure they are excellent foraging toys. She also loves to chew up the stems. Sometimes she eats more of the actual peppers than others.

Is it okay to let her eat pepper seeds every day? How nutritious (or not) are they? Just curious!

My sun conure gets served fresh peppers everyday (bell, jalapeno, banana, Serrano, red chili, habanero). Red Bell Peppers are especially high in vitamin A so I imagine having these daily is good for them. Better that than apples (my sun is crazy about apples and I try to ration this, but he can go crazy all he wants on the peppers :D)

Sakura loves apple, too...I let her have some every day because at least it's got some moisture and she has fun chomping it up. She never eatst he whole piece. But I've been trying to convert her to mango instead since it's higher in vitamins. I was specifically wondering about the seeds of the peppers...I imagine they must have some nutritional value but different from the "meat."
