Hi all....ive looked everywhere for pellets for my newly adopted BFA....cant find anywhere that sells them.im based in hertfordshire uk...anyone have any ideas where i can get some and which brand is best ...cheers :):green:

We use VetaFarm pellets which are made in Oz (by an avian vet) and they do online sales, not sure if they post to UK, would imagine it wouldn't be cheap for postage to UK.

There are lots of different ones available. Check out http://www.scarlettsparrotessentials.co.uk/pellet_complete_diets
I'd give Harrison's a try first, and I personally like to stay away from the coloured ones as they stain the poo, but to be honest, the best pellet is the one your bird will eat (they're all pretty good), so just give a few a try and see :)

I had great success with Harrison's for my Amazon. I never used any other brands so afraid I can't comment on or compare with other brands. Most vets are able to order Harrison's, usually for next day collection but you will pay the premium for buying through them.

I found it best to buy direct from Harrison's. Their website Harrison's Bird Foods UK has a link for their UK supplier Premium products to enable the optimal care of birds and animals Even with postage costs I found it nearly £5 per bag cheaper than the vets...
