Pellet eating!

This is a crumble pellet party! Lol it's a mix of zoopreem, mazuri, and Oven Baked Bites by all living things.
This is a picture of Cloudy chowing on pellets there is an actual pellet in his mouth in this picture! My parakeets have seeds at all times and access to pellets at all times and tons of veggies twice daily. I've mentioned they choose pellets on their own to eat sometimes I love having picture proof! I think he is eating the crumbled oven baked bites.

One of our local retailers of pellets has just started importing TOPS which I’ve just introduced to Fang and Val. Not sure they’re all that thrilled, but Lilly LOVES them - loves jumping in the dish and flinging them in all directions that is!

My Bourkes and Turqoisine Parrots have decided to go for the parrot pellets lately
They are the Vetafarm Breeder Small Parrot Pellets, bit big for Bourkes and Turqoisines but that does not hold them back
Egg and Biscuit mix is thoroughly enjoyed as well (the commercial stuff)

BB's breeder had him noshing on Zupreem fruity blend and he likes them. I got a bag of "crumbles" for 'keets and teil's and I mix 'em up,trying to wean him off the colored one's. It's easy to see colored dust from the fruity one's..not so easy with the plain.

My little budgies are not choosing pellets very often, it's what's left in their bowls. I've never been a fan of cereal myself and have always called it people chow, lol so I can understand. They love the fresh greens so at least they are getting more than just seeds.

Mine don't eat the crap pellets the mix with seeds and sell for parakeets either. These are quality pellets I bought for the other birds and crumble for them.

My Cloudy is a special social guy. Today I sat at the couch as all the quakers and Ta-dah wanted to hang with me at the same time. Cloudy flew over and joined us at the couch!!! I think he would actually sit on me too if there was room!

Hehe you just stick the lettuce straight onto a little stick-perch like that? Mine would pull it straight off & to the bottom of their cage... where they would ignore it! I have to clip veggies firmly to the walls with hairclips, for my little winged lettuce-piranhas to enjoy them.
