I read that parrots love peek a boo, but how do you get your parrot interested? I've been trying to get Ava into it and she just looks at me like I'm crazy lol

you can gently place a light towel over them, then lift up the other end and when she crawls toward it say "peek a boo!" :). You can also put the towel over and when she pokes her head out the other end do the same thing :0). If she is too scared, you can hold the towel up and see if she crawls under it herself. don't push her too hard and have fun :D

I get the same look. Or my IRN turns her back on me I think she laugh at me lol.

We taught our CAG "peek-a-boo" at an early age. My wife put a towel over her face and, to induce Bongo to approach she would say "Where are you?" from behind the towel. When she sensed Bongo was picking at the towel she lowered it and said "Peek-a-boo. I see you." Now Bongo understands the game well. We can peer out briefly from behind a corner and Bongo, inside his cage, will say one of the three sentences. We can repeat the game until he gets tired of it. He'll play with anyone, including recently from his outside perch when a neighbor kid said "Hello birdie" through the hedge.
