peanuts?

i had read somewhere [on this forum] when i first got my freddie that peanuts were a no-no for conures, though they didn't say why. just to be safe, i have since then been making sure not to buy any treats with peanuts in them, and wanted to buy some nutri-berries for him, but they had peanuts listed in the ingredients. is it true that i should not feed him peanuts or was this false info?

No not false. If you go to the home page and on the right hand upper corner search window type in peanuts and you should see several threads about this subject.

okay, i'll go and do that. but i see that many people on here feed their conures the nutri-berries.. is this wrong? perhaps there is a variety without peanuts? there were several varieties at my local pet store but they all had peanuts in them.. maybe i'll find a thread on it lol
