lmao i made this peanut butter treat thing(cant remember what its called) i found it on www.cockatielcottage.net ( might of changed the recipe slightly) i will try and find the recipe though! but i used: Peanut butter, seed, and a little bit of pellets( i didnt have much left so i only used a bit) and egg and mixed it all together athen spread out ona cookie sheet and cooked for like 20-30 minutes still wasn''t as cooked as i liked it to be but whatever a then i cut it up into little squares and gave them to tiels and i come back like half an hour later and they both have peanut butter all over there face! it was hilarious i wish i had pics is till some in the freezer(the treats) though. but omg it was all over there face and beak and it took forever to wash off i had to use a paper towel since misting was working to get it off there beak. and since tara is lighter it showed up on her th most and its still kind of there but i give up on trying to get it off of her its like stain i geuss.. maybe it will come off over the time she molts or mistng.

oh heres the recipe :

Minute Birdie Cakes
Submitted by Francie

Ingredients:

1/2 cup slightly crushed cheerios,
bran flakes OR corn flakes
1/4 cup peanut butter
1 egg
Directions:

Mix all ingredients. Pour onto an oven safe soup bowl. Baked at 350 degrees about 10-12 minutes until no longer gooey. Mash a fresh strawberry or a few banana slices on top and serve.

That sounds good, even if i wasn't a cockatiel! lol (under some circumstances!)

I'm sure your tiels love it!

you should make it for your budgies, i chnaged the cereal for the seed and pellets since we didnt have any cereal at my house when i made it so ya. its really easy to make though.

I think I'll make that for Sisqo too. Oh yeah..and those new little guys too.

There's a similar recipe on here that also calls for raisins and honey in the mix. Sisqo doesn't quite care for the honey but he LOVES peanut butter, egg, and multi-grain cheerios so I'm sure he'll eat this right up!

Gonna try this one for Bucc, he will love it I'm sure. :D

Definately, and if people don't want others to take them they should put copyright in things. :D

:18: :18: Don't worry if the boys in blue come after you, then they'll have us to deal with. :18:
