Haha, so what does your parrot do when you turn the vaccum cleaner on to vaccum stuff he has mischeviously spilt out onto the floor? Punky starts rambling and screams help help help lol

Damien just looks at me as if to say "Yeh dats right.. you clean my mess up, slave person...."

And the finches just bunch together and just watch silently.

Damien is a clever boy
I wonder what goes through their minds, obviously they are not scared, probably just curious.

Audrey fluffs up & starts dancing for a bath haha :D

I hardly used the vacuum now, we have tiled floors, but when I do occasionally use it, he dances and sings at the top of his voice.

Codie squawks at the highest level possible when I hoover. Although it dosent bother her at all and she dosent stop what she is doing :)

My Nanday still hates it. But, she hates anything that comes into her room that isn't normally in here.

My BC loved it. And when I swept under her cage, she would start tossing pellets for me to clean up. Apparently she thought I was enjoying the sweeping and wanted to make more fun for me. I had a budgie that did that as well.

My zon doesn't yell but he doesn't seem to like it either. He just watches, somewhat on alert.

codex just ignores me... nothing seems to startle or scare her, she is just such a sweet little baby

Keep the stories coming,. this is too funny!!

George the Yellow-crowned Amazon often would take a bath when I ran the vacuum-- or he would laugh as if the vacuum were the funniest thing he'd ever seen. :)

Ralph the Quaker takes advantage of the noise the vacuum makes so he can practice new words and sounds without being overheard. :D

The first time I vacuumed behind Leela's cage with the new fancy vacuum she alarm called (it sounds like a klaxon..she usually only does it when she's at the vet), but since then she just peeps angrily and stares at it.

Puck loves the noise and chatters up a storm. He also does this when I am doing dishes, or when he hears music he likes, or sounds in a movie he likes, etc.
