Parrot wanter

Hi everyone

Just wanted to instroduce myself and make an announcement.

My name is Lena, I'm from NYC. I'm a big animal bug and after interacting with the parrots sometime ago I desperately wanted one for myself. So I'm looking for a pyrrhura type of conure (coz I need somebody quiet, can't have a noisy one) to adopt to the very loving hands. Give me a hit if you have one!

Many people will recommend looking for a local parrot shelter. Although parrot shelters are fantastic look out for shady ones. You can usually tell quickly if it isn't run by honest people, or if it's a bad situation. You can also check local classifies like Craigslist. Many conures are often for adoption because of the large number sold at chain pet stores.

I hope you find a buddy. Spend this time doing all the research you can and make sure a parrot is a right fit for for you. Birdtricks.com has a lot of great blog post about parrots.
