Have you Video chatted with your fid? If not, try it.

Two weeks ago my brother in law was in the hospital for more than a week. I went up to help out with the kids and house hold but also spent some time with him and his wife in the hospital. I left my fids at home with Husband, he did a great job with them but he did come to see his brother in the hospital. The night before he came up I had him Face Time me so I could point out things to bring with him and to check on my fids. When we Face Timed, we had a room full of people including the doctor and nurse. I talked to each fid via Face Time and leave it to Buzz to get laughs from everyone because he proudly said his current favorite word "Wwwwhhhooooaaaa".

Not only did the hospital staff laugh so did the patient and family, laughter is awesome.

I love that idea and that story!

I would give Skype a try to visit the Rb if needed. Not sure if it would make him happy or just freak him out. With the success you had, I'd definitely try it!

Al (Wrench) and I (and Rb and Salty) Skyped a while back and Rb acted just as he always does around strangers whom he thinks are getting too much of my attention. He screamed and flapped and in general thoroughly embarassed me. When we logged off, he jumped behind the laptop screen to see where they went, which suggests to me that he (and clearly your birds) knew they were dealing with a live person).

Pretty cool.

Still bummed out here Gail, that my home Wi-Fi didn't jive with Al's note book :o Was so excited thinking that "all of us" could have spent some way cool time together! Would have loved to see the Rickybirds reaction, and Amys'!
BB could care less lol. Just as long as he has a shoulder to call his own

I stand at the ready to Skype with ANYBODY who wants to feel instantly proud of their relatively better-behaved parrot(s)!!!!!

Cue Buzz to say "WHOAHHHHHH!"
