Before I send this (rather expensive) work to print, just wanted to make sure I've labeled everything correctly and have a good selection of birds (if I wanted to change any, I would need to buy a new stock photo). I realize I only have one New World parrot, but my original aim was to show the kindergarten class a variety of (a) colors (b) sizes (c) shapes.

P.s. If you would like to purchase a digital version of this poster for a VERY small fee to support my avian education program development, send me a PM. :orange:

Blue and Gold MAC are a new World Parrot very common in South America

Like the layout and colors! Now I understand the question about the Yellow-Crowned Amazon!

Amazon's as a family are dominate in South America. That said the Family range is South America, Central America and near all the islands the full Caribbean.

I understand you are tight for space, so maybe: South and Central America? With South being first since that is where the vast majority exist.

Great poster. It looks like a good selection for kindergarten age. The parrot owner part of me says "I want my bird on it." The librarian part of me says "use the birds that you have the resources to follow up with." It never fails if you put out a display they want more information on the one thing you don't have enough of. I'd be interested in getting a copy.

Very nice poster, great choice of parrots and superb layout!!

I'd think a copy would look nice in an avian vet's exam room!
