Aloha,
Looking in to a Red Bellied Poi - Male. He is on Oahu, and almost weaned. Breeder is going to send me pictures soon. So I can share when I get them. I’m a little scared, but really excited at the same time. Whoop. My only concern is I do work m-f 8:30-4:00 but there will be times when my husband is home during the day and he can spend time with him during the day. But I will be his primary care giver. Any advice you can give be I welcome. As for this little parakeet that I rescued a couple of weeks ago, he is doing really well. He is a little loaner and prefers it that’s way. I am respecting his space. I have taught him to step, he will do it reluctantly, but he does it. I am more of a hands on person, and he is definitely hands off but he clicks and whistles, I swear sometimes he is talking but can’t make out what he is saying. :39:
