Parakeet and green cheek

I adopted a parakeet recently and my green cheek was always an only bird she wasn't sharing anything with the poor keet. Now the keet loves going to the GCC's cage and sometimes spend the night. Yesterday I caught the keet throwing all the GCC's pellets out of the cage as soon as she leaves I wish we could post videos because it's very funny

That is funny cause my canaries and keets do the same thing, they ransack Dixie's food dish....crazy birds....

That is so cute! I wish my GCC and budgies would all snuggle together at night, but if I put them all in a cage together it would probably be a murder scene. But they tolerate each other when out all day. You're really lucky post some pics when you can!

Budgies seem to love throwing pellets. I had a female that decided one day to kick the entire contents of her food bowl out of her cage. She was cupping the food with her foot and kicking it as hard as she could....straight at my printer. For the next couple of years my printer would suddenly jam up and I'd open it up and find yet more food clogging up the gears and print head drive. I had no idea where all that food was hiding in there but upending it and vigorously shaking it out never seemed to get it all.
