Hi friends,
My fiancé and I bought a house and we're gearing up to move in within the next couple weeks. We closed a couple months ago and spent that time painting.

My question: At what point can I feel at ease bringing my quaker inside with the fresh paint? The last coat in the house was applied about a week ago as of today, and the room where her cage will be was finished about 3 weeks ago. Browsing around I’ve gotten very mixed answers, so wondering if anyone else here has done this before and how long they needed. Thanks!

YIKES! Good for you for worrying. I don't know ow to advise you. Maybe call a breeder or zoo or other professional source... maybe a vet? Good luck.

If you can still smell the paint, its too soon. Parrot respiratory system is extremely sensitive to anything in the air, far, far more then we are.
