Just wondering what you can give a conure for pain? My Jenday cracked his beak yesterday and is in a lot of pain. The vet did not give me anything for it. Maybe this will take but a day and he will start eating soft foods again tomorrow. It breaks my heart to see him like this.

Maybe you could call the vet and take his/her suggestion. I wouldn't give medication without a vet's advice on what to give and the proper amounts to give....

I am surprised your vet did not prescribe anything. Call him ASAP. In the mean time make a warm mash and offer it to him. I hope your baby feels better soon.

I got some childrens asprin and mixed the proper amount (265mg per 1 liter water = 5 cups). also got my hands on some Baytril with vit. K..... but to no avail........... My Jenday died this morning. I always thought I was going to grow old with him.
I hope he crossed the rainbow bridge happy and healthy and is flying forever.
thank you for the replies.... but sometimes life has other ideas..... I buried him in the garden and planted a nice flower next to his grave.
