Paco flew away. He escaped 10 days ago and I’ve given up hope of him returning. My only hope now is that he’s found and returned. I do everything with him on my shoulder. I got used to him there and just forgot he was with me when I stepped outside to wash my laundry. A bird called. He called back. I realized he was with me and put the laundry down to get him but it was too late. He was already flying. I put up 300 color flyers. I listed him missing on 911parrotalert.com and with the local police. We notified the shelter and vets in the area. We joined next door and put a lost and found on Craigslist. I went out calling PAAAACCCCCOOOO at sun up for an hour the first 4 days he was gone. I even contacted a Christian radio station and they got the prayers going for his safe return.
