Outside birds

Everytine I open teknos cage, he goes straight up to the back door and really loudly Cherps to the outside birds, and every so often when he is in his cage he try's I guess I'd call it "calling out" to the other birds outside. Would this pose a problem that I should try avoid while taming him or it isn't a problem?

hi, there! i dont think its a problem. my nanday does that too in the morning. i throw the old bird seeds on my balcony for the wild birds. my nanday and gcc love watching those birds and chat back once in a while.

I can't imagine why it would be a problem. As long as he's not sitting at the door neurotically trying to get outside to be with the other birds all day long, it sounds like a fairly normal behavior to me. My GCC will call to and answer any bird she hears, especially when I'm wanting her to be quiet for some reason!

my sun likes to sit by the window and talk to the birds outside, hes even made some friends that come everyday and sit near the window and chat with him.
