Outgoing PMs

I have sent 3 PMs to a member and a copy of each was not retained in my file so I don't know if it went through. I didn't see anything indicating I have to check anything in order to do so. I am new so I am not sure what happened. My very first one worked properly.

I sent a message to myself and it worked. I also saw a box, this time, indicating to save a message in my outbox.

I sent a reply. I think what's happening is I should be using advance reply if I wish to keep a copy. I haven't had to do this in other forums so I wasn't aware of it.
