Out and About

So just chose a random forum since this has more then one in it.

I had everyone that is mine out except Folger and Loki. Both of those two have actually caused Monster some damage recently (just a couple scraps). All in self defense though since Monster won't stop picking fights

Anyway the group after an exhausting couple of hours flying around my room. Dante by the end was looking like he was just going to drop right out of the air from being so tired! Even my two conures who get out the most to fly were getting a little worn out. So yeah this the group taking some naps and preening.

For some reason Renji thinks it is a grand idea to hang off the side of the cage and sleep. Doesn't look overly comfortable to me...

The bullies... being totally innocent and cute...


Came over to see what I was doing in the corner...

Apparently Monster was more interested in my computer for once!

And from last night when I was packing up more of my room for moving... I had called my mother in to help with moving a box (that I may have made too heavy)so of course the macaw came waddling in and getting underfoot. So into prison while she helped me!

Thanks for sharing those sweet pics, Victoria! They look like such an interesting array of colorful personalities. Nice!

I must ask, though, is that mass of beautiful white fur in the bottom right of the second pic a cat or a dog? Hard to tell from the angle of the head, but if that's a cat I'm a little scared.

Great pictures! They're all very cute I love the one of your mom's macaw looking like he's rattling his prison bars.

My kitty couldn't care less about the birds -- she's an old lazy lump who just loves to sleep on someone's desk. Son's GCC likes to preen her tail, which she seems to enjoy. The other birds don't have much interest in her.

They all definitely have their own personalities That white lump is Paige my cat. She couldn't care less about my birds honestly. Same for the other two cats in the house. We had 5 cats but just rehomed two because of too much interest in the birds. They were both cats we took in from the barn so its not overly surprising they were interested in the birds.

Our three cats are pretty traumatized when it comes to the birds. My two green cheeks (the bullies) and the macaw love to chase them around or scare the crap out of them. They tend to stay away from the birds or freeze when the birds get close

But I agree Paige is the most beautiful cat




And poor Travolta, my stepfathers cat, who completely froze when Monkey decided he was a good perch....can see him cringing...

Oh, I see the confusion. You all thought I meant I was afraid for the birds. Nooooo, I meant I'd be scared for ME! She looks HUGE!!! I don't know if it's a trick of perspective, but she looks more like a snow leopard than a house cat! Hahaha!

lol she is actually pretty small just really fluffy! Travolta is bigger then her But when I looked back to the first pic she does look pretty big in it.
