Well, Skye finally molted some tail feathers and they're coming back in solid! It was so hard to tell by just her face alone because it was always a little lighter than the rest of her feathers and the difference now is very subtle. I'm sure that has to do with being cinnamon.

We've made the decision to keep calling her a girl. It's easier on all of us, I think. We're used to saying it and she's used to "good girl" during training. At least we don't have to worry about eggs now!

Both the breeder and the vet said they thought she was a girl because of how sweet and quiet she was but woops! It doesn't matter to us though. We love her no matter what. :D

Amy was always thought (by ME) to be Amy..a female :) In 2015,when "Amy" was 25 yrs old ( she has been with me since she was 4 months old) at her wellness check I decided to have her dna'd. Well Amy is a he
But I still call "him" Amy,and still find myself referring him as a her. No biggie to either of us :D

We have a couple of birds that we still call boys, even though they turned out to be girls. So hard to change that!
Skye is beautiful either way!
