So, I bought some popcicle type sticks & wooden stars to make toys for Keen. My husband gave me his drill so I could drill holes to chain them. Popcicle sticks were tricky. Stars were pretty easy. At some point I drilled through my dining table. Ummmm...Oooooops! Husband doesn't know yet. I know I'm going to get yelled at & don't want to start my weekend that fabulously. :54:

Yikes. Yep the popsicle sticks are tricky. I had someone help me hold down 3 or so ontop of a clamp and i would drill through them and into the gap of the clamp. Also, it was done on a workbench. My mom would have killed me if I drilled through her dining table :P Good luck! haha

Yikes! Definately a big oops there. Maybe you could serve his favorite dinner on that table to try to butter him up lol.

I am sooo lucky I don't have a husband anymore... I rehomed him to a much better home... lol

Oh my goodness! That is so funny, and sad at the same time.. lol.

I finally fessed up. Spit it out at lunch today while out running errands. I figured he wouldn't yell in the middle of a restaurant. :) He didn't freak out. He wasn't thrilled by any means, but he didn't freak out. I did nicely remind him that I'd been asking for his assistance with it for days. I've never used a drill before.

Well if THAT'S the case, that's what he gets!
