One year!!!

Time sure does fly, we just celebrated a year of parronthood.
Bosley sure has come a long way, he is my sweet little trouble maker.
He flies and gets into everything, I can't believe how much energy he has for his age.
He is a cuddle bug in the evenings and enjoys an evening preening and scritching session every night. He is even starting to bond to hubby very slowly. He is a character though, at dinner time he squaks at hubby to go make dinner and in the evening he wants hubby to go so he can have some cuddle time with me before bed.
It has been a wonderful year and looking forward to many more.
I also included a pic of our little Brown head, he is a sweetheart too.

I can't imagine life without him!!!
We are so lucky and blessed to have found each other, it must of been fate.
I toyed with the idea of a parrot for a while, never took it too seriously over the years.
When I really started researching and seeing what was available in my area, it was his picture on the rescue's website that held me captive.
From never owning a bird to adopting an amazon that wouldn't step up for anyone and being in a rescue for over a year, I think things have gone smashingly!!

There was something about Bosley, the adoptions director at the rescue just kept saying that she knew he was a good bird, even though he didn't step up or try to socialize with the humans LOL
We went and visited the rescue recently and the director told me she wouldn't of let Bosley go to just anyone and that she really missed him, all the volunteers remember him too!!

Bosley and I are so bonded, when I am home which is most of the time except work he is my constant companion. He makes me laugh so much being his goofy trouble making self. I am so happy he opened up and is enjoying his life.
