My gcc is bleeding from one nostril. She had blood dripping down her beak but I cleaned her up and wasn’t sure if it was still actively bleeding but now it looks like it is but very very slowly, not gushing out. She was out of her cage when it started, not around any of my other birds and I never heard anything out of the normal (panic calls or crashing into a wall). She is acting perfectly normal and even gave herself a bath to get more of the blood off her beak. I called my vet but they were closed so I called my back up vet and they were also closed. I don’t know what to do and I’m very worried. What could have happened?

Can you give more background, this burd looks young how old is it?, how long have you had? What other burds do you have?, what do you feed your burd?,

She is almost 2 years old. And I have had her for just about a year. I have two budgies and an eclectus. She eats chop in the morning and zupreem pellets as night. She did have strawberries this morning but I confirmed that the red on her was indeed blood.
Yes its blood. It coukd be pesticides on tge strawberries

How does poop look? Do you weight check your birds , you could check and see if weight-loss.
A good search of the area just to be sure nothing he could have ribbed beak in.
He could have scratch it with a toe nail, but seems like a lot of blood for something like that.

Could she have a sinus infection or something that is causing the bleeding, or could she have scratched her nostril? Is there a chance she flew into the cage or something or was injured by another bird? No recent falls or thuds in the night?
