The wife and I were playing remember when with old cartoons on YouTube and she came across this.

I got a good laugh at the way the little sailor climbed up the mast.

This cartoon predates TV so it had to have been made to show in theaters.
Alot of the old cartoons would never be allowed to be on tv in this day and age.

When my son was of the age to enjoy watching cartoons there were a few I liked.

Roco's modern live was a fun cartoon about a wallaby and I think it his sidekick was a steer.

The other was one I liked better than my son called Swat cats.
It was very funny and cute. It was in a city populated by cats. All different breeds of cats and the two heroes ran a junk yard but fought crime in a jet fighter.
