I am beyond excited to bring home this little tiger in about 8 weeks! Carolyn, the lady that hand fed my macaw, texted me and told me she had a surprise. The surprise was this beautiful boy/girl. She/He hatched Tuesday the 20th - around 3:30pm. Looks like she will be an all white 'tiel with red eyes. I couldn't say no..I just couldnt.

Yeah stop me if you've HEARD that one before...

Stop me again if you've SAID that one before...

Stop me again if you've SAID that one multiple times... and then the next words out of your mouth were "What the hell, I've got an extra macaw cage in the garage... what's one more..."

Last one, I promise!

wow they are so tiny but grow so much i absolutely love the photos especially the one where there in someones hand!priceless!

So cute!

The last, suuuuuurre! He He! ;)

Awww, so sweet! Congratulations on your new addition and best of luck with your, no more birds decision!

I have the same problem, so you're not alone!

I have to be actively restrained from getting more birds. My boyfriend has told me, "Unless it's sick, injured, or a sulfur crested cockatoo, no more birds."

I like to think of it as a challenge :D

I have a thing for all-white birds. The whiteface lutino cockatiels are so beautiful. You're going to enjoy looking at her every single day (I say her because most of them are girls; but it IS possible to get a male if the parents are the right colors for that). Congratulations, though. Those are truly lovely birds.

What adorable, sweet babies! The photo of the lades hand feeding him/her really puts into perspective how tiny they are. Lucky you!

What a sweetheart!
As far as the no more birds, I have literally said that to a friend , and she told me that was a shame since she knew someone giving away their bird. I immediately said give her my number! And went and picked up our GCC that weekend.
MBS...there is no cure.

Maybe that is why I still only have one LOL I don't know of but one person who has a bird that lives close to me. There are no rescues close .

Christine, that is probably fortunate. One of my best friends owns a rescue.
She has 2 Lories now that would be a great addition...
No.
Just no.

Lol, yeaahh, no more birds... Suuuuuuuure. Lol.

Looks like a lutino and white face lutino (albino). Do you know what color the parents are? Unless the MOTHER is also lutino, you can be sure you have a couple of baby girls on your hands.

Looks like they are incubator hatched and hand fed from day one. If I were you I would ask specifically to be allowed to socialize them with your existing birds from a very early age, as this method of raising could impact their social skills.

With the baby this young you can also order a harness early; I like to introduce the harness before the pin feathers are even breaking. Introducing something new when everything they see is new seems to be the path of least resistance so far :)

It's official... you have MBS!

Looking forward to seeing photos of your newest baby as he/she matures. Congrats!

Haha! I said 'no' to more birds after I'd brought home my second one, which was 7 birds ago!
I think I'm doing pretty well though, as I haven't brought home another one within the last year. Ran out of wall space! :-)

Congrats on your tiny new baby!

Congrats! Cockatiels are such sweet little birds :)

Aww...congrats! Can't wait to see more pics! I said "no more" after my first two. I now have five. I "think" I'm done now, although I have seen two cockatiels available locally...I'm trying my best to NOT look at them!

Oh my! how TINY!!!! I'd be terrified to hold them let alone FEED them!

Congrats on the new addition though :D I keep saying that exact same thing... no more birds.... of course I have two, soon to be three extra cages..... you just CAN'T get rid of them.. what if.... what if.... what if I find a sick/ injured/ sulfur crested....
