Off on a New Adventure

So starting Sunday, I will be off on an adventure to Oak Ridge (Manhantan Project)Tennessee! Quite cool to be part of a world stunning project!
JoJo will be with wife and Bongo. JoJo loves adventure, Bongo still needs to grow out of his shell, and wife needs to overcome her fear of ??birds??! Overall, I think it is a great opportunity for all!

What will you be doing? I've been to the museum there, but the main facility was closed to the public when I was there. Fascinating! Also, nearby is the Museum of Appalachia, a Smithsonian affiliate in Clinton, TN. There's usually a Groupon for half price admission. Allocate a day for it, there is a lot to see.

This first phase will be 100% grunt work

Well, am back home with JoJo, adventure was awesome!
Building supercomputers is rather labor intensive to say the least! Days 1,2,3 involved moving 60 pallets between floors, 100s of thousands lbs, installing 25 large racks(270 to go)..loved it! Every day was a minimum of 6 miles walking! To give an idea of the scope, we will be installing 45 thousand disks next month! That is 45,000 boxes to unpack, and process the waste in a responsible manor! Guess who the grunts are! An awesomely perfect retirement assignment! Little stress compared to present assignments!
Because of my technical background and my love of hard labor, apparently I am in high demand right now for this project!
But!
Wife taking care of JoJo didn't go the way I would have liked. He was very well taken care of, but because of her fear, he spent the two weeks in his cage! Same as you staying in your bedroom for the two weeks!
Most likely, when I return to the project, I will bring JoJo with me.
FYI, JoJo and I are hanging out in my room and he is just flying from spot to spot!
